Qualche tempo fa ho visto su internet questa coperta, e oltre a pensare che lei fosse una pazza furiosa (ma probabilmente anche molto innamorata), ho pensato che avrei potuto fare qualcosa di simile per *lui*. No, non una coperta ecco, magari qualcosa di più abbordabile, tipo un cuscino. Quindi mi sono documentata sull'uninetto tunisino, del quale ignoravo l'esistenza, e su youtube ho trovato degli ottimi tutorial. L'unica cosa veramente importante da sapere è come cambiare correttamente i colori per evitare dei disastri! Qui si può vedere la differenza tra i colori cambiati in maniera scorretta (a sinistra) e quelli inceve cambiati correttamente.

Quindi dopo vari test fatti cercando di aggiustare la tensione del filo e cambiare i colori correttamente, ho trovato questo fantastico sito dove ci sono tutti i personaggi del videogioco. E' tempo di iniziare! Ho preparato lo schema con Photoshop, montando lo sfondo e i vari oggetti, ho disegnato un milione di righe e ho iniziato il lavoro! I colori purtroppo non sono esattamente gli stessi, ma è abbastanza difficile reperire in commercio cotoni di questi colori. L'uncinetto tunisino è estremamete divertente, e in appena 10 giorni ho fatto quasi il 90% del lavoro! I riquadri laterali con la tartaruga, Goomba e la coin box sono finiti, è il quadrato centrale è a buon punto!

So after numerous tests, trying to correctly change the colors and adjust the tension, I found this awesome site that has all of the characters on there! It’s time to begin! So I made the schema with photoshop, printed it, drew a million lines and then beginned to crochet! The colors are note quite the same, but it was very difficult for me to find thick cotton in the right colors! Tunisian crochet is so funny, so in about 10 days I’m at 90% of my work!

Ed ecco qua, il cuscino è finalmente finito! ho unito insieme i blocchi con una maglia bassa, ho cucito (grazie nonna!) una stoffa nera sul retro, ho riempito con l'apposita imbottitura, inserendo sul davanti un quadrato di gommapiuma per tenere il cuscino un pò più teso. *Lui* è stato molto felice del regalo!

And voilà! I finally finished the pillow! I have joined together the blocks with single crochet stitches, I sewed a black cloth on the back (thanks grandma!), then I padded with synthetic padding, inserting a square of foam to keep the pillow tight. My boyfriend is very happy about it, and I’m happy too!!
